A chance to run

Bad Mistake-Adj01-small.jpg

I remember watching the Olympics one year when a runner was disqualified for a false start. They had to escort him off the track - he was so stunned. He couldn't believe it was over. All those years of training. It was over before he got a chance to run.

That's how it felt leaving New York, moving to Berkeley. It wasn't as abrupt, but still, the race was over, and I felt like I never got my chance to run.
