Emergency genius ideas

I keep a small pad of paper and a pencil in the bathroom in case I have emergency genius ideas. I've written many things down, but when I read them later, I don't know why I wrote them.

Collecting shells on the beach: they’re so shiny and enticing in the wet sand, but when you get home they dry out and become dull and not that interesting.

Collecting them was fun though - that’s worth something.
