It is time to perform a cleaning

In case you have an LG Tromm washing machine that is not draining properly, like I do, here are instructions for cleaning the drain pump filter:

Step 1
Locate the lower cover cap at the bottom left side of the front of your LG Tromm washing machine as you stand in front of it. Use your flat-head screwdriver to remove the cap and turn the drain plug counterclockwise to release it from its housing. Extend the drain plug hose and empty any residual water into a bucket.

Step 2
Locate the drain pump filter on the right side of the same compartment. Turn the filter counterclockwise and pull it outward until you can access the mesh filter within. Remove any debris or particles from the filter. Press the filter in and turn it clockwise to return it to its original state.

Step 3
Replace the drain plug hose and turn it clockwise to fasten it in position. Close the lower cover cap and resume using the machine.
