Re-organizing yourself around  a new belief system is kind of like replacing the foundation of your house. It's major. First you have to demolish the old one, which is a loud and messy process. There's a pretty good chance that some unexpected shit will happen. A wall you knock down will be the wall that was holding everything else up. And you'll think "Great. Now what do I do?"
It can seem daunting. You might wonder what you've gotten yourself into.
But it gets fixed. Repaired. Put back together.
It may take twice as long, and cost twice as much as you thought it would, but you get through it. Advil and earplugs help. So do patience, compassion, and acceptance.
