Larger than life

Saw Nick Cave last night at The Warfield. Jonathan Richman opened. 
Nick Cave is a total badass. That was established beyond a shadow of a doubt. 
Songs that stuck with me:
The Weeping Song

Push The Sky Away

He just owned it, from the first note, which was a low menacing drone that played for a couple minutes before the musicians walked on stage. Very dramatic. Theatrical. Letting the tension build. 

He describes himself as a megalomaniac when he performs. Larger than life. Mythological. God-like. He's very clear about the role he needs to play on stage to fully deliver his songs.
