I was just listening to a Sufjan Stevens song - a beautiful song - and there's a line "You checked your texts while I masturbated". My first thought was "That was kind of an odd thing to include in this song", and my second thought was "I would never write a lyric like that". Now he has to sing that line whenever he plays that song. Is that no big deal to him? I guess I'm kind of a prude. Easily embarrased. And ashamed. I marvel at people who aren't.
