Some words from filmmaker / poet Jonas Mekas:

The way of filming has to be very intuitive, spontaneous, with no thinking. Absolutely no thinking. I'm not a thinking person, I don't think.

Keep looking for things in places where there is nothing.

Most of my videos consist of fragments, one or two minutes long. They are haikus or sketches. I have thousands.

For an artist, to be normal is a disaster.
