THINGS I REMEMBER

I remember my mom getting up in the middle of the night to watch the wedding of Princess Dianna and Prince Charles.

I remember Star Trek, The Bob Newhart Show, and Barney Miller were my dad's favorites shows.

I remember Carnation Instant Breakfast; vanilla, strawberry and chocolate packets in the box.

I remember Sears stores having a vacuum cleaner blowing air, and a beach ball suspended in the stream of air.

I remember my brother running away from home for a day, and the reason he came back was a note my mom put in his lunch that said "I love you".
