Song is the thing

my fingertips are recovering from a morning guitar session. working on a raga piece with a good picking pattern in the B section. to arrive at a guitar part that is at first very difficult is a good thing:
'he who is never required to do something he is unable to do will never do all he can'
i believe this is true. don't remember who said it.

i am in one of my 'i wish i was a better guitarist' moods. but we all know the truth: SONG is the thing. we are here to write songs. so shut up and write.
